And if you’ve still got some spooky left in you, don’t miss out on Halloween Kills, because Michael Myers isn’t finished yet.

Here is the current pick of what’s available to buy or rent on the Virgin Media Store…

Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

In the latest instalment from the MCU, we meet Shaun (Simu Liu), who lives in San Francisco and works as a car valet with his best friend Katy (Awkwafina). But Shaun’s past holds a secret that is about to catch up with him, and change his life completely. Let’s just say that Shaun is actually called Shang-Chi, and there are some powerful heroes and villains wanting to get their hands on him!

Halloween Kills

Available to rent from Monday 15 November in On Demand > Movies > Premium Rentals. Cert 18

It’s the American slasher franchise that keeps on giving – that’s right, Michael Myers is back. Halloween’s twelfth instalment sees the return of Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie, who’s frankly sick to the back teeth of the Boogieman incarnate ruining her life. Following on from 2018’s Halloween, in which the gang trapped Michael in Laurie’s burning basement, it picks up from the exact moment they realise the serial killer isn’t finished yet.

The Boss Baby 2: Family Business

Available to rent from Monday 22 November in On Demand > Movies > Premium Rentals. Cert PG

As adults, Ted (Alec Baldwin) and Tim (James Marsden) are reluctantly reunited for Christmas, only to discover that Tim’s daughter can talk, and has a lot to say about the family business. When she reveals a formula to turn her father and uncle back into babies for 48 hours, chaos ensues, as they try to overthrow her wrong-doing headmaster.

The Addams Family 2

Available to rent from Monday 22 November in On Demand > Movies > Premium Rentals. Cert PG

When Gomez feels his family aren’t as close as they used to be, he decides a road trip to Death Valley is the perfect solution. With an all-star vocal cast including: Oscar Isaac (Gomez), Charlize Theron (Morticia), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Nick Kroll (Uncle Fester), and Snoop Dogg as Cousin It, there’s fun to be had for all the family.

Dear Evan Hansen

Available to rent from Monday 22 November in On Demand > Movies > Premium Rentals. Cert 12

Evan is a socially anxious, timid teenager, whose therapist has advised he write letters to himself in order to boost his self-esteem. But when one of Evan’s letters is mistakenly understood to be a suicide note from classmate, Connor, Evan decides to spin a web of lies about their friendship, to comfort Connor’s parents.

The film stars Ben Platt as Evan Hansen, who brought life to the character on Broadway between 2015 and 2017.

Young Rock

Series 1 available to buy from Sunday 20 November

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a household name nowadays, but the wrestler-turned-actor has never shied away from his humble beginnings. Famously he only had seven dollars in his pocket when he was cut from the Canadian Football League in 1995. In Young Rock, we get to see snapshots of The Rock’s formative years, following his dad, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson, around the world as a WWE pro-wrestler.

The Outlaws

Series 1 available to buy from Tuesday 30 November

In Stephen Merchant’s new BBC series, we meet a ragtag bunch of wrong-doers, completing community service together. A brilliant cast ranges from newcomer Rhianne Barreto to Merchant himself and Hollywood royalty in the shape of Christopher Walken. The comedy drama sees them work together to navigate their differences and eventually come together to protect one of their own against Bristol’s most notorious gang.
