The Oscars are upon us once more, and despite the year we’ve all had, the show must go on. To make sure you’re au fait with all the big titles, we’ve rounded them all up in one place, and listed where you can watch each and every one

The 93rd Academy Awards are a particularly strange one, because a chunk of the nominated films haven’t been able to enjoy a cinematic release. But on the bright side, that does mean that you can enjoy them from the comfort of your sofa.

So, why not dim the lights, stick some popcorn in the microwave, and pop your phone on silent for a couple of hours, before getting stuck into this lot.

Judas And The Black Messiah

Available to buy from 26 April. Cert 15

In this drama based on a true story, when small-time criminal Bill O’Neal (LaKeith Stanfield) is offered a plea deal by the FBI, he must infiltrate the Black Panther Party to avoid his sentence. But as political tensions mount in 1960s Chicago, O’Neal grows closer to Panther leader Fred Hampton, brilliantly brought to the fore by Daniel Kaluuya.

Disney Pixar Onward

Pixar is never far from the awards season, or the heartstrings. In this magical tale of camaraderie, two elvan brothers (Tom Holland and Chris Pratt) must see past their differences to magically resurrect their father for one day only.

TENET

Christopher Nolan is back with another big budget, mind-bending epic, in which the laws of nature (or at least the ones we know) don’t exist. In a world on the brink of World War III, John David Washington must grapple with a secret technology that allows the inversion of time.

Pinocchio

A live action take on the story of the marionette who just wants to be a real boy. In a series of misadventures, Pinocchio must prove himself truthful and selfless in order to cut his strings and gain full consciousness.

Emma

Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit) brings Jane Austen’s Emma to life in this offbeat period comedy. The meddlesome matchmaker wiles away her Regency-era days pulling the strings in the romantic lives of her supporting cast.

The Trial Of The Chicago 7

In this star-studded retelling of the trial following the 1969 Chicago riots, seven defendants from different walks of life are charged with government conspiracy.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

Chicago is getting a real airing this awards season. Set in 1927, Ma Rainey and her blues collective find themselves in a heated recording session, when power struggles in the band lead to devasting consequences. The late, great Chadwick Boseman offers a masterclass in storytelling dialogue – certainly not to be missed.

In the late Jack Fincher’s love letter to Tinseltown (directed by his son, David Fincher), we’re introduced to booze-addled screenwriter Herman J Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman). When recruited by Orson Welles, Mank must battle his own demons as he rushes to perfect the script for Citizen Kane.
