Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium discount offers
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium (‘Disney+’) offer where you have received a discount offer for Disney+ from Virgin Media and, where applicable, have agreed to pay for the Disney+ subscription through your Virgin Media bill (the “Offer”). These terms and conditions set out the agreement between you (‘you’ or ‘your’); Virgin Media Limited, (Company Number 02591237) whose registered address is 500 Brook Drive, Reading, RG2 6UU (‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ or ‘Virgin Media’) for the Offer.
If you are taking out a new Virgin Media broadband (Minimum 50 Mbps) subscription, excluding Essential broadband, you can add Disney+ as an optional additional service to your Virgin Media bill. Some Disney+ plans with a minimum term (if applicable) may be offered with a discount on the monthly subscription cost, this may include an offer of Disney+ “On Us” for a number of months (On Us Offer Period). The exact discount provided as part of any offer and any, if applicable, minimum term will be notified to you at the time you take out your new Virgin Media broadband service.
You must activate Disney+ within 14 days from receipt of your confirmation email otherwise you will lose access to your Offer. If you fail to activate Disney+ within the 14-day period, standard Disney+ services will be available as an optional Add to Bill service but there will be no discount applied to the monthly subscription cost. If you do not activate Disney+ and agree to the Disney+ Subscriber Agreement, Legal & Privacy Policy | Disney+ (disneyplus.com), then you won’t be able to access the Disney+ service.
At the end of your minimum term or any On Us Offer Period as notified to you, the discount will be removed and you will automatically renew to a monthly subscription at the standard monthly price for your chosen Disney+ plan. You may cancel your Disney+ subscription anytime from 30 days before the end of your minimum period or at any time during any On Us Offer Period
Access to Disney+ is subject to eligibility checks. You may not benefit from more than one offer period. We may refuse your Disney+ charge and prevent you from accessing the Disney+ service if you fail credit checks or are in arears or collections in respect of any other payments due to Virgin Media. By adding Disney+ to your bill and activating your Disney+ account, you agree that Virgin Media (including through our agent Virgin Media Payments) will bill you for Disney+ on a monthly basis. You agree to pay for Disney+ in full in advance from the date Disney+ is activated. We will align the payment for Disney+ with the rest of your Virgin Media bill, so if you activate Disney+ during your bill cycle, we’ll calculate the pro-rated amount for that month, and add it to your next bill.
If you activate your Disney+ entitlement through Virgin Media and already have an existing Disney+ active entitlement, you may be billed multiple times by different billing providers. Messaging and guidance will depend on the on the combination of entitlements you have.
If you fail to make payment when your Virgin Media bill becomes overdue, Disney+ may be cancelled, and you will no longer be able to access Disney+.
If you leave Virgin Media’s broadband service (in accordance with the terms of your Virgin Media contract) you will lose access to Disney+ and you will also lose the discount offer. If you want to keep Disney+ you will need to sign up directly with Disney+
The discount offer is only available with Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium subscription plan options when taken for a minimum term (as specified at the time you take your new Virgin Media broadband service) or for a On Us Offer Period, it is not available on Disney+ Standard with Ads.
Virgin Media’s privacy policy applies to Virgin Media’s collection and use of your personal data in relation to Disney+ . By paying for Disney+ through your Virgin Media bill, you shall acknowledge and agree to the Disney+ Subscriber Agreement and understand that any personal data collected and processed by Disney+ will be carried out in accordance with Disney’s own privacy policy https://www.disneyplus.com/en-gb/legal/privacy-policy
If you already have Disney + subscription directly with Disney and you have the same subscription plan with Virgin Media then Disney+ will pause this until you either cancel your subscription with Virgin media or change to a different plan. If you have a Disney + subscription with another third party or a higher plan directly with Disney+ you will need to manage your account to prevent being charged twice.
