Love is in the air for Noah. She just might not realise it yet though, given the subject of her affections is her mortal enemy and new stepbrother Nick. Don’t you just hate it when that happens?
That’s the premise for My Fault: London, Prime Video’s steamy screen adaption of Culpa Mía, the first novel in Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy. It made its screen debut back in 2023 (watch the original My Fault and its sequel Your Fault in Apps > Prime Video now), and this English-language version gives the romance drama a stylish British twist. Check out the trailer below.
Starring up-and-coming talent Asha Banks (A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder) and Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers), My Fault: London begins with 18-year-old Noah (Banks) uprooting her life in Florida for a fresh start in London with her mother Ella (Eve Macklin) and Ella’s wealthy new husband William (Ray Fearon, Fleabag). Soon she encounters her handsome and rebellious stepbrother Nick (Broome) and the two get off very much on the wrong foot – but despite this, their relationship develops into a fast-paced and forbidden love affair.
Of course, the two young sweethearts are up against the odds as they hide their romance from their family and friends, while Nick confronts his painful past and Noah’s estranged father tracks her every move. But will their love be worth the risk?
With legions of fans around the world, a script from hotly tipped new screenwriter Melissa Osborne and a talented supporting cast including Jason Flemyng (A Town Called Malice), George Robinson (Sex Education), Harry Gilby (Boarders) and Amelia Kenworthy (The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power), we’ll be tuning in to find out.
Don’t miss My Fault: London, which is available in Apps > Prime Video from Thursday 13 February. Let’s be honest: who wasn’t cheering on Mark Darcy when he got into a hilarious punch-up with the sleazy Daniel Cleaver to defend Bridget’s honour? Swoon! It didn’t all start out with bold declarations of love though, as Mark (Colin Firth) and Bridget (Renée Zellweger) began their will they/won’t they romance as the proverbial chalk and cheese.
Cruel Intentions
Find it in Apps > Prime Video now
If we’ve learned anything, it’s that the course of true love never runs smooth. Which is an understatement in cult drama Cruel Intentions, when bad boy Sebastian (Ryan Phillippe) places a bet with his manipulative stepsister Kathryn (Sarah Michelle Gellar) about seducing their headmaster’s innocent daughter Annette (Reese Witherspoon). Of course, Sebastian’s reputation precedes him, which makes for a tantalising back-and-forth between him and Annette.

Before the likes of Tinder, Hinge and Bumble, there were more primitive ways of flirting with your crush in the form of anonymous email exchanges. That’s how business rivals Kathleen (Meg Ryan) and Joe (Tom Hanks) were able to eventually move past their hatred for one another and fall in love in this classic romcom that still gives us butterflies.
When Harry Met Sally

Romcom icon Nora Ephron was the creative force behind this Oscar-nominated flick that has cinema’s most famous restaurant scene, and it followed the mutual loathing shared between Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan again) for 10 years before they became unlikely friends and, eventually, fell for each other.

How romantic.
It Happened One Night

Perhaps the original enemies-to-lovers romcom can be pinned to Frank Capra’s 1934 tale It Happened One Night, one of only three films to win all five major Academy Awards (Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress and Screenplay). It’s a love story that still stands the test of time, following the slow-burning romance between unemployed journalist Peter and spoiled heiress Ellie, as he tries to score an exclusive on her story.
