Everyone needs a bit of extra help every now and then, so we’ve pulled together the best bits of info, tips and telly hacks to help you get more from the service and your Virgin Media box.
Whether you’re stuck for what to watch, have recorded the wrong thing, want to dive into UHD or stream in the study, there’s something new to learn for all customers. And it’s all as easy as A, B, C, Sky One, BBC Two, ITV 3…
TV channels: Channels, content and features available depend on your chosen package. Channel line-ups and content are subject to change at any time and to regional variations.
HD: HD TV set, V HD Box, TiVo box or Virgin TV V6 connected with HDMI cables required for HD channels. Number of inclusive HD channels depends on package.
Catch Up TV: Catch Up TV content available for up to 7 days or up to 30 days after broadcast, depending on content.
On Demand: Content available to view depends on TV package. Time limits apply for viewing chargeable On Demand content – see virginmedia.com. Once purchased, all chargeable On Demand content must be viewed within 48 hours. Premium channels and upgrades must be kept for at least 30 days.
Netflix: Netflix subscription required at extra cost.

TNT Sports (from 18 July 2023) is included in Maxit TV, Full House TV and VIP bundles or can be taken as an add-on at additional monthly cost. Premium channels and upgrades must be kept for at least 30 days.
Virgin TV UHD channel: Available to Maxit/Full House TV customers only. Primetime only – see channel for programming schedule each day. 4K enabled TV/device and V6 box required to watch content in UHD. Quality assumes your equipment is working at optimum standard.
TV Go and TV Control: Content available to view depends on TV package. Not all live channels or on demand content from relevant pack available. Streaming live channels or on demand and TV box management require broadband/WiFi or 3G/4G internet connection. 3G/4G usage may incur data charges from your mobile provider. Streaming live channels or on demand and downloading are UK only (or while temporarily in EU). Maximum 2 devices per account can watch TV on TV Go.
