If you haven’t, the concept of the show is simple. Islanders in a Mallorcan villa are made to “couple up”, and the public (and often the islanders themselves) then vote individuals or couples off the island. With re-couplings happening each week, those unfortunate enough to find themselves alone are left out in the cold (well, technically still in the sun) and told to pack their bags.

The winning couple must decide whether they’re in it for the money or for love, and choose whether to split or claim the £50,000 cash prize. If both choose money, they walk away with nothing, but if one chooses money and the other chooses love, the one with money on their mind gets to walk away with the cash. If they both choose love, they both receive £25,000 (plus thousands of Instagram followers, sponsorship deals, club appearances, reality TV offers… naturally!).
