We offer a range of broadband packages so you can find the best broadband deal for you and your home. Here are some of the bundles you can choose from:
- Broadband only – Our scaled-back option, offering superfast broadband, just without landline or TV
- Broadband and TV – A package for entertainment lovers that includes home broadband and TV, with channels like Sky Sports and Sky Cinema
- Broadband and flexible TV – Flex is a rolling 30-day TV package, available with our broadband only and broadband and phone deals. Get 150+ essential channels, catch-up players and a choice of optional subscriptions that you can turn on or off every month.
- Broadband and SIM – Also known as our Volt bundles – get Virgin Media Broadband and an O2 SIM, with double the speed and data thanks to Volt benefits
- Broadband for low-income families – Get broadband from £12.50 a month if you receive Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance or Income-based Employment Support Allowance
- Business broadband – We offer lightning-fast business broadband deals, which include 24/7 phone support and other features are available to add for extra peace of mind
What to consider when comparing broadband deals?
When it comes to comparing broadband deals and finding the best option for you, consider the following:
Price of your broadband deal
You know what to check. Does your ideal broadband fit your monthly budget? Are there any upfront costs such as a setup fee? If you’re considering the more affordable options, does cheap broadband really meet your needs and offer the best value for money?
Internet speeds
Casual browsing and smaller households will generally need less internet speed. Larger households and more heavy internet users will need an internet deal with more speed. Whatever your needs, we have broadband deals to suit you.
Broadband contract length
Just so you know, most of our broadband deals come on standard 18-month contracts, or 24-month contracts. Exempt from this is our Essential broadband for low-income families, student broadband packages with flexible rolling contracts, and a few other deals.
Broadband usage
If you’re a large household and frequently download music and films, you may need more data, than other households. The good news is that all our broadband deals come with unlimited downloads.
Broadband packages
If you fancy TV, take a look at our two-in-one broadband and TV deals that combine our superfast fibre with 200+ channels. Or if you prefer to pick and mix your entertainment each month, why not add our flexible TV service to one of our broadband only packages? Sometimes! Bundling TV with our broadband deals could be a great way to keep costs down compared to taking our broadband on its own. Compare all our deals to make sure you get our lowest monthly cost.
Our flexible TV deals have 150+ essential channels to watch, as well as catch-up players including BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and My5 to stream your favourite shows. Flex also gives you the freedom to add entertainment subscriptions to your package – you get 10% bill credit back on each and you can turn these subscriptions on or off every month. Options include:
- Premium channel packs – Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, TNT Sports, Kids Pick, Entertainment…
- Streaming plans – Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Premium, Paramount+, Apple TV+, YouTube and more.
- Subscription news, fitness, music and game apps.
- Equipment - All the necessary Virgin Media kit, such as our wireless broadband Hub, will be provided to you.
- Installation - Fees vary (up to £40) – although you can sometimes take a special offer with ‘£0 installation fee’. Visit broadband installation for more info.
- Setup - Fee of around £35 – but keep an eye out for special offer broadband no setup deals.
It’s quick and easy to switch broadband providers and move to Virgin Media. There’s no need to tell your current provider or give them 30 days’ notice, and you can switch at any time to one of our best broadband deals though if you do so before your minimum term is up, you might be charged fees.
Simply choose your prefered bundle across all our broadband and TV deals. Once chosen, you can start your broadband switch, firstly just check if you're eligible using our postcode checker. Then you’ll be asked to give us some details, including your current broadband provider, surname, address, account number and the services you want to switch. We’ll use these to find your account with your current provider. If we can’t do this, you’ll need to contact your current provider to check your details or disconnect from them yourself.
Your current provider will send you some important info, including details of any early disconnection fees, which you should read before you agree to switch broadband providers.
Using our switching service, your connection won’t be interrupted, and you won’t have to pay for two providers while we get things sorted.

This'll depend on where you are in the process. You can place an order with us using our switching service, but you might need to get in touch with your current provider to make sure you won’t lose access to your services too early.
This depends on the type of installation you need. We offer a QuickStart kit that makes it easy to set things up yourself – it can be delivered to most homes or Click & Collect points. If QuickStart isn’t available in your area, we’ll send out an engineer at no extra cost. If you can get a QuickStart kit but choose not to use it, you’ll need to pay £30 for an appointment.
And just so you know, our services always come with an activation fee of £35.
No, you can reschedule your installation worry-free – we'll take care of everything with your current provider and make sure you aren't left without services while you switch.

Yes – in the unlikely event that something's not quite right, we'll automatically compensate you on your first bill in line with our compensation policy.

No setup fee
This promotion means you won’t pay the usual setup fee of £35. No setup fee is available on all bundles, broadband & phone, and broadband only packages. If you can set up using a Self-Install pack, but choose to use an engineer for the installation, you’ll still be charged £30 for this service.
