Sport to watch this week

Pick of the week

Football: Brighton & Hove Albion v Nottingham Forest
Saturday 29 March, 5pm, BBC One HD (CH 101)

Both these teams have established themselves in the top flight in recent years and are having excellent seasons. An FA Cup success would be the cherry on top – and that sets up an intriguing quarter-final at the Amex Stadium this Saturday. With home advantage, Brighton might be slight favourites, but Forest have shown they’re experts on the road with eight away wins this season. What might give the East Midlanders a psychological edge is the last meeting between the two, which Forest won 7-0 at the City Ground.

Brighton have got their season back on track since then with four wins and a draw in five games, with players like Danny Welbeck and Kaoru Mitoma hitting form. Meanwhile, Forest’s Chris Wood is among the Premier League’s leading scorers with 18. It’s finely poised and promises to be a thrilling game, so tune in to see who progresses to a Wembley semi-final.
