5 reasons to follow MotoGP™!

It’s the fastest show on two wheels – here are five reasons you need MotoGP™ in your life

Craving some live sport on the box?We have just what you need if it's some serious sporting action you're after...

MotoGP™

Allow us to introduce you to the world of MotoGP™, live on BT Sport. Want to know more about the fastest show on two wheels? From the daredevil riders to the excellent coverage available on Virgin TV, here are five fast and furious reasons why you should be getting into MotoGP™…

1. It’s properly pulse-raising

With top speeds of over 200mph, these bikes mean business. But with great speed comes great responsibility. While having absolutely no time for fear is pivotal when riding one of these bad boys, you also need deft wrist control to keep the machine tamed. The drivers might make it look easy while they’re tearing around the track, but that doesn’t stop us from being permanently perched on the edge of our sofas!

2. You’ll be dazzled by the stars

Any sport worth its salt has stars and MotoGP™ is able to boast a whole raft of them. Defending champion Marc Márquez, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa are the Beatles of MotoGP™. Four of the greatest riders ever to zip up a leather jumpsuit, these fellas are pure box office and have the personalities to back up their talents. But there are plenty of young whippersnappers at their heels, too, including 22-year-old Maverick Viñales. Yes, that’s his real name, and big things are expected of the Spaniard.

3. There’s British interest

Spanish and Italian riders are usually the dominant forces, but it’s Cal Crutchlow who’s flying the flag for Blighty. The Coventry lad, who currently races for LCR Honda, hadn’t won a single race in his career before picking up two victories at the end of 2016 – and he’s enjoying a solid 2017 campaign so far. However, with his contract up at the end of the year, he’ll be keen to impress between now and the season finale. Go, Cal, go!

4. The awesome coverage

With BT Sport on Virgin TV, there’s exclusive live coverage of every MotoGP™ race this season, and they really know how to put on a show. Whether it’s practice sessions, qualifying, or the race itself, they show everything as it happens across race weekend. Plus, they also have live action from Moto2 and Moto3, the classes below MotoGP™. If you want to be kept in the loop with this scintillating sport, you know where to be.

5. You can watch on the go!
