Mates. They can drive you up the wall, but there’s no people quite like them. That’s especially true of the group of buddies featured in Brassic, Sky One’s brand new comedy drama.
Written by BAFTA winner Danny Brocklehurst (Safe), this six-part series follows a close-knit group of pals in northern suburbia who love nothing more than having a laugh while getting up to no good. Car chases? Robbing strip clubs? It’s all in a day’s work for this band of merry misfits, who are led by the charismatic Vinnie (co-creator Joe Gilgun, This Is England).
But there’s a cost to their hilarious high jinks. When they cross paths with a local crime boss, Vinnie and his friends find themselves in serious danger. How much longer can these lifelong mates keep wheeling, dealing and scheming their way through life? With the stakes higher than ever, their bond is about to be tested like never before.
