Got seconds to spare?
Brassic, Sky One’s hugely successful comedy which first aired in 2019, is back for a second series. And the good news just keeps coming, because all episodes will be available to watch from Thursday 7 May!
Have a minute more?
Remind me, what’s Brassic about?
Co-created by star Joe Gilgun (This Is England) and BAFTA-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst (The Stranger), Brassic is about a group of mates in a fictional Lancashire town whose idea of a good time usually gets them into trouble. They’re total scamps, but their hearts are in the right place.
Can I catch up on series 1?
You can! It’s all available to watch right now in On Demand, so you can get bang up to speed before series 2 kicks off on Thursday 7 May. Want to know even more about the show, including profiles of the characters? Then check out our series 1 preview right here.
What’s to come in series 2?
More larking around, thieving and general misbehaviour. If you’ve not seen the first series, stop reading right now! Vinnie (Gilgun) is trying to keep a low profile after faking his own death to escape from local gangster Terrance McCann, while the rest of the gang make plans to rob a travelling circus.
Anything else worth knowing?
The first series of Brassic was a massive success for Sky One, with viewers and critics going mad for it. Not only was it commissioned for a second series, a third series of the show has also been given the green light, so there’s plenty more to come.
