Watch our video with the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 1 queen, who spoke to members of the public about their favourite LGBTQ+ shows and films, while sharing a few of her own

Happy Pride month, divas (as Cheryl Hole would say)! Although we might not be able to enjoy the occasion together, there are plenty of ways to still celebrate, including watching powerful LGBTQ+ stories in film and television.
Cheryl took to the streets (and the beach) of the UK’s unofficial gay capital – Brighton – to find out what telly is inspiring people this Pride season. We also caught up with her on her own journey and why it’s important to have queer representation on TV.
From taking a trip to drag boutique The Brighton Birdcage and gossiping with fellow drag queen Ex-Girlfriend at Bar Revenge, to strolling through North Laine and visiting Duke’s at Komedia cinema, Cheryl certainly made her mark on Brighton. And Brighton loved her! Her adoring public were never too far away as they eagerly awaited a socially distanced selfie or chat.
